On our 20th episode of Impactful Conversations, I am delighted to welcome Melvyn Lubega. Melvyn is an Actuary by training and is an experienced technology entrepreneur and business executive, who has built businesses that serve customers across the world. He is also a referenced thought leader and invited speaker both abroad and locally on digital transformation, disruptive innovation, the future of the workforce, as well as business strategy.
Melvyn is a founding executive and current Director of Go1, a world leader in online training that has been recognised on both the Deloitte Fast500 list of the world’s fastest-growing companies as well as the Disrupt100 list of the world’s most disruptive companies. He is also a non-Executive Director of Adcorp Group.
Following his graduate studies at the University of Oxford as a Rhodes Scholar, he co-founded an international software company which currently serves clients in more than 20 countries. Prior to that Melvyn worked for the Boston Consulting Group, where he was their first associate in Sub-Saharan Africa, as well as for Goldman Sachs in the UK. Melvyn is Vice-chairperson of the St John’s College Foundation Board. He is an Old Johannian and was Head of School in 2007.
